When Nightmares Come True

I don’t know what it is but its right behind me and it can run fast. It’s faster than my car. I can see its shadow in my rearview mirror, it could be taller than a tree. My hands are trembling.

It’s coming closer.

Then suddenly, I hit something with my side mirror. But this thing came from the front.

There are more than one. Atleast three. I know that because the third one is right in front of me now. I saw my nightmare from last night coming true. I close my eyes because I know how it ends.

  1. I like that we don’t know what the things are. Our own imagination is always the most frightening

  4. Dear Shivamt,

I wonder what would’ve happened if he hadn’t closed his eyes and given in to the nightmare. Frightening and well done.
