“Roger!”, Katie was screaming from the veranda. “She left her toys in the garden again! It was raining. Now they’re all ruined.”

Roger was reading something. He calmly removed his glasses and came to the veranda. He held Katie with both his arms.

“What? I am talking about Amanda. She won’t listen to me. You try telling her not to do that!”

Roger hugged Katie, bringing her close to his heart. “Honey, we used to have a daughter, we don’t, anymore. She used to leave her toys outdoor. Now its you who’s doing it, but you just don’t remember.”
